We Are Looking for a New Resident Artist!
We are looking to add one additional tattoo artist to our studio!
Currently Spider Lily is four artists and a flex station for guest artists. We’re looking to add a fifth artist to our little lily pad. There is plenty of room for growth and for each artist to spread out and be comfortable in our 2,000 sq ft open-air space.
We are a private, appointment-only studio on West 7th in Fort Worth’s cultural district. We are looking for a tattooer with at least two years of experience (excluding apprenticeship) and ideally some private studio experience as well. Any resident artist brought on must have their own clientele and ability to schedule out their own appointments. We do not have open hours or take walk-ins and do not have a studio phone. Each artist’s booking is done independently. We will however, do all we can to share and promote your work, bookings, etc on the studio’s social media.
We love to plan events, parties, flash days, attend conventions, etc and have all of our artists be able to participate and have fun. We are looking for artists who are passionate about tattooing, their art, their growth, and participation as well as just being a kind human. Having someone that vibes well with us, our ideals, and dynamic is a big must that we’ll take into account.
We are offering flat-rate booth rent that is a fraction of what is typically paid in 50/50 or 60/40 commissions of full time artists in other tattoo shops. This allows our artists the freedom to charge what they want, make their own schedule, and come and go as they please.
